Details: SUMMARY: Stage 2 DBPR Assistance DETAILS: PWS is required to complete IDSE Standard Monitoring Plan (SMP) by April 1, 2008 to comply with System requested assistance for preparation of the Standard Monitoring Plan (SMP) for compliance with Stage 2 DBPR. The SMP involves evaluating water quality data from several sources to determine sampling sites for Stage 2 DBPs in 2009-10. I met with Martin on 1/8/08 to assist him in developing the SMP. He had already started the plan and I reviewed it for accuracy. He had already evaluated his data and complied chlorine residual averages, temperatures and pH levels. I reviewed his DBP data and water system distribution map to justify Standard Monitoring (SM) sites for the plan. I talked to Wendy Marshall R10 EPA and discussed his sampling schedule and site justifications. I modified and reworked his plan to account for EPA comments and sent it back to him for review and submission to EPA. ACTION NEEDED: As requested by PWS
