| Details: | I spoke with Cheryle regarding the total coliform alert of 5/7. She stated repeat samples cannot be submitted until Wednesday, May 14 because the lab picks up only once per week. Cheryle stated that the positive sample was taken at an outdoor faucet which had not been completely flushed following pump repair. She further informed me of a "Boil Water" notice that has been in effect for approximately 2 weeks; the pump repair caused a drop in pressure, making it necessary for customers to boil their water. Signs are posted and word of mouth has reportedly informed all customers (40 connections). 05/20/20: Call from Cheryle today, stating lab courier did not pick up samples 5/13. Cheryle stated she spoke to lab manager and was assured that the new samples would be picked up. The boil notice remains in effect pending results from this round of testing. |
