| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and Copper DETAILS: Spoke with Dan several times over the last three weeks regarding the lead and copper results taken 12/11/07. I received an alert on 3/11/08 for lead over the action level for two of the five samples. Dan did investigate why the two samples were unusually high for lead and found that both samples are invalidatable due to the fact that the samples were impoperly taken and not representative samples. At one residence, the home was vacant for several weeks and a neighbor took the sample from the hose-bib faucet outside. The other sample was taken at a residence where they had just replaced the interior plumbing/faucets, see email in file from 3/31/08. Spoke with our compliance officer and decided to invalidate the two samples from 12/11/08 and have the water system take another round of 5 lead and copper samples between June-Sept 2008. ACTION NEEDED: Take five lead and copper samples between june-Sept 2008 | ||
