| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer Study DETAILS: HBH was contacted by system following a Sanitary Survey from DWP. The small community water system pulls water from Rock Creek. This water is treated by an old Key-Pac CCB package treatment plant. This plant is a conventional process using hydraulic coagulation/flocculation, followed by sedimentation, then rapid sand filtration. Following treatment, disinfection is accomplished by using liquid NaOCI. One of the deficiencies identified in the Survey was the CT not calculated to reflect current flow rates. Also there has been no formal tracer study completed. I visited the system and inspected water records to determine proper flow rates for CT testing. Also inspected existing equipment set-up to instruct operator on preparations that need to take place prior to testing. ACTION NEEDED: Complete CT Tracer Study. | ||
