| Details: | SUMMARY: New septic system to be installed on property adjacent to Well #5 DETAILS: Water District is concerned that a new septic system being installed on property adjacent to Well #5 will be at the minimum 100 ft. set back. Larry Brown of DEQ is going to re-evaluate the site to see if a greater distance can be achieved. Well 5 is 317 ft. in depth and is cased and sealed to 260 ft. The SWA well construction sensitivity analysis indicates that casing seal construction is of inadequate thickness. ACTION NEEDED: Springfield office to review source water assessment to determine if the septic drainfield set back is a critical concern. | ||
