| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Treatment Assistance DETAILS: System has an arsenic result over the MCL and George requested information on treatment options. The running annual average (RAA) from samples collected for 4 quarters in 2007 was 0.0147 mgl. This is over the MCL of 0.010 mgl. The latest samples collected on 1/18/08 was 0.015 mgl. He has contacted a locat company for an estimate on treatment and it was over $70.000. He has received SRF Letter on Interest LOI forms. He claims that no one owns the water system and he has been left woth caretaking it since the well is next to his lot. I told him I would prepare an arsenic treatment report for him and contact Stettler Supply in Salem to follow up with him for a bid. I also will help him with cimpleting the Letter of Interest to submit to DWP. ACTION NEEDED: Contact Stettlers Supply, prepare the treatment report and complete the LOI. I will contact Kathy Miller, PUC about forming some type of ownership organization for the water system. | ||
