Details: SUMMARY: One routine Lead sample above MCL DETAILS: On 12/13/07 Tim Triuett called to notify that one of the five routine lead samples collected this week was above the Lead MCL levels. He has issued a public notification to the school. I told them that despite the one sample with elevated levels, the 90th percentile results of the 5 samples collected were still under the MCL for lead which it doesnt constitute a violation at this point. The lead action level as set by the EPA is 0.0150mg/L. I briefly described the requirements to comply with the Lead and Copper Rule in the case that future results from the 5 routine samples exceed the 90th percentile. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of routine samples and follow-up.
