| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact with system regarding testing requirments for the new configuration of wells and entry points. DETAILS: This water system recently went through a major overhaul where they built a new reservoir (300,000 gal) and had all new piping added to the system so all the wells enter the reservoir prior to distribution. Wells 2,4,6,7 are on line and wells 3 and 5 have been moved to inactive status. Water rights are in the process of being transferred from 3 and 5 to other wells in the system. Chlorine injection is located at well #4 and its supply is injected after the sources are combined and prior to entry into the reservoir. There is now one Entry Point - that being E"P A. Well #2 is AA, well#4 is AB, Well #6 AC, Well#7 is AD. This configuration allows the system to submit one combined sample for water quality testing purposes. ACTION NEEDED: Sample results need to be submitted to DHS prior to Jan 10th dead line. | ||
