Details: SUMMARY: Discussed routine sample taken 8-16-07 positive for total coliform bacteria. Ed will take 4 repeat samples ASAP. DETAILS: Ed called to say that the routine sample (8-16-07) was positive for total coliform bacteria. He thinks he took it from a faucet that was not used much. He will take 4 repeat samples ASAP. I reminded him that if any repeat samples are positive, then he will need to do public notice, send a copy to the Health Division. Then he will have to find the problem and correct it. Next month September 2007 regardless of the outcome of the repeat samples, he is required to take 5 routine samples. ACTION NEEDED: none
