| Details: | SUMMARY: arsenic treatment DETAILS: Dave from Culligan water called and wanted to see if point-of-use devices (P.O.U.) can be a treatment option for Arneys forest vew mhp. I said yes, it most likely can be an option but would need to be specifically addressed through plan review process. I told him to talk with Tom C. for details. Apparently the cost to install centralized treatment for the entire mhp would cost $20-30,000 and P.O.U. devices can be as low as 250-325 per unit. He mentioned he asked DEQ about treating the arsenic backwash water from centralized treatment unit, they mentioned possibly treating with coagulation, $$$, etc. Dave will call Tom C. and discuss details to install P.O.U. devices. ACTION NEEDED: go through plan review for any major modifications or treatment. | ||
