| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert Chem 2768 for Arsenic MCL DETAILS: Arsenic MCL exceeded for sample taken 9/07/07. MCL is .01 ppm and result is .0139 ppm. Received alert 01/14/08. Spoke to James Vesterbt, operator, and informed him of the Arsenic level. Advised him that no increase in sampling is required but recommended that he discuss the issue with employees of the store and told him I will mail information sheet about health effects of Arsenic to him along with information on treatment options. Also discussed sodium results for sample taken 9/7/07 and recommended monitoring the water softener: will also mail information on sodium to Mr. Vesterbt. ACTION NEEDED: No action required. | ||
