| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Assistance DETAILS: System exceeds Arsenic MCL and treatment will most likely be required. Four samples collected since 10/07 have a Running Annual Average (RAA) of 0.025 mgl. The MCL is 0.010 mgl. Travis has contacted Rainbow Pump and received an estimate from them. He did not have it available for me so I do not know what is proposed. I discussed potential treatment technologies and local installers available with him and what may be appropriate for the system. I recommended Oregon Water Services as a treatment provided and contacted Randy Reitz (owner) and discussed the water system situation with him and gave him Travis’ phone contact for follow up. Randy has installed GFH arsenic treatment systems in a couple of schools in the Dexter area and they have been operating successfully. I researched on line GFH arsenic treatment information.
