| Details: | SUMMARY: Equipment costs assistance DETAILS: HBH previously provided assistance to the North Hill Water Corp in Umatilla Country (just North of Hermiston). The corporation operates 2 wells that service 27 lots. Recently, the wells have developed capacity issues, with sun times as low as 12 hours. Previous DWP Circuit Riders work was done with this water system to add chlorine due to coliform hits. The most recent work provided by the DWP Circuit Rider (in Summer 2006) was the estimation costs for major upgrades to the water system, including a new well, water mains, meters, and storage tank. OECDD contacted HBH at the request of Sylvia Bush with North Hill to provide assistance with application for funding. Due to inadequate funding, a reduced scope of work is needed. HBH updated cost estimates for reduced scope of work. ACTION NEEDED: Provide further assistance with completion of funding application if needed. | ||
