| Details: | SUMMARY: Troubleshoot system Flowmeters anomalies DETAILS: Preparation and data gathering for the CT Tracer Study concluded there were significant discrepancies in flowmeter readings within the water system. Following the assessment of operations data, it was decided to perform a flowmeter evaluation in conjunction with the CT Tracer Study to allow close monitoring of all appropriate parameters at the-minute intervals. There are 3 system flowmeters (Raw/Clarifier flowmeter, Finish flowmeter and (New) North Reservoir outlet flowmeter. I reviewed reservoir dimensions, elevations, volumes, and flow data. During the Study, ten-minute readings were taken during the course of the study that lasted 280 minutes. Parameters include-- finish flow, N Reservoir flow, N Reservoir level and S Reservoir level. Where possible, readings were taken both at the treatment plant and remotely in the field. Reviewed resultant data and identified possible causes of anomalies between flowmeters. ACTION NEEDED: Work with operations staff to make a list of procedures to troubleshoot and verify the instrumentation accuracy. | ||
