| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert - Positive TCR on repeat samples DETAILS: Phone consultation with Kirankit regarding the repeat total coliform samples. There was confusion when Kiran and I spoke last week 2/21/08 regarding the positives due to timing of the passing of information. The well was chlorinated after the 4 repeat samples came back positive with total coliform not after the first routine sample came back positive as I had thought and recorded in the last Contact Report. I discussed with the owner posting public notice and provided in an email a link on what it should look like and what she needs to fill in. I also explained that she can take a special sample to see if the chlorinating the well was effective treatment in fixing the problem or wait a week since it is so close to March to take the 5 routine samples needed in March to get the results. ACTION NEEDED: The owner will create a public notice for total coliform post in a conspicuous place and take 5 routine samples for March. | ||
