| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample at wellhead before UV DETAILS: We received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample taken at the wellhead on 5/20/08. I spoke with Julie Whalen on 5/22/08. This system has UV disinfection and Julie was unaware that the routine samples needed to be taken after the UV. She said they shock chlorinated the well this spring. They took 4 repeat samples at the well already and I told Julie that they could shock chlorinate again if any repeats come out positive, but that we will still need a routine sample taken after UV for this quarter. I told her to call Casey Lyon next week if she has any questions. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the routine sample taken after the UV. | ||
