| Details: | SUMMARY: System Assistance DETAILS: System has an approximate 20 year old package treatment unit which provides flocculation, clarification, and filtration in a single skid mounted unit. The treatment unit is over 20 years old and was originally rated for a peak flow rate of 100 gpm. It has been operated at a rate of about 55 gpm for a number of years as water quality requirements are consistently met at that rate. The operator has requested that we evaluate of any additional capacity is available at this time. I visited the treatment plant to take measurements of existing package water treatment unit. Calculation optimum flow rate through the various treatment components based on engineering standards. Completed engineering report addressing Water Treatment Plant Capacity. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
