| Details: | SUMMARY: Filter Media Replacement Assistance DETAILS: System has an approximate 20 year old package treatment unit which provides flocculation, clarification, and filtration in a single skid mounted unit. The treatment unit is over 20 years old and was originally rated for a peak flow rate of 100 gpm. It has been operated at a rate of about 55 gpm for a number of years as water quality requirements are consistently met at that rate. The filter Media in the treatment unit has never been replaced. Based on recommendations in our recent Engineering Report addressing WTP Capacity, the system is interested in replacing the filter media at this time. I provided contact information to Dave Terrusa for an equipment representative with a line of replacement water filter media. ACTION NEEDED: Provide media sizing recommendations of required ensuring proper replacement media is provided. | ||
