| Details: | SUMMARY: Requirement for Backflow Prevention DETAILS: Silverton owns and operates a water system, which provides water to approximately 6800 people, through 3800 connections. Water supply is from Abiqua Dam. Mr Peters contacted HBH in an effort to gain assistance with several operational issues. For this contact, Mr Peters was seeking guidance on the Federal and State requirements for backflow prevention. I composed a report detailing and summarizing requirements for backflow prevention. Of primary concern for the city was developing a list of facilities and fixtures that should result in the installation of backflow prevention.
