| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic samples collected on 1/14/08 and 2/01/08 in Phase One/Two were over the MCL with levels of 0.0169 ppm and 0.0370 ppm DETAILS: 2/27/08- The system is now on quarterly arsenic sampling. I spoke with Richard Kirby. He said that the 01/14 sample was combine Moore/Robertson (Phase 1/2 water) and the 02/01/sample was collected directly from the Moore Well (Known to have high arsenic levels). They are still consulting their engineer and debating arsenic treatment options, to include: 1) blending water with lower arsenic level sources prior to distribution and 2) installing an arsenic removal system on the Moore well. Richard thought that a decision would be reached some time in April. Until then they will continue quarterly sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Continue quarterly sampling. | ||
