Details: | SUMMARY: I left Mr. Krank a voicemail on 3/25 and 3/26 regarding the SNC status and to remind him of the 5 routine samples due by the end of March. DETAILS: Mr. Krank left me a message on 3/27/08 (I did not work on 3/27) to say that he has asked Stutzman Services to act as operator for Foster MHP so they now have a "certified operator". He said that the 5 routine samples would be drawn on March 31, 2008. I spoke with Jeff VanDiver from Stutzman Services on 3/28/08 to let him know about the new sampling plan I put together and wanted him to use and to discuss the condition of the outside and inside sample taps. He told me that Mr. Krank contacted him on 3/27/08 but no contract was signed. Jeff told Mr. Krank that he would not be able to draw samples until 3/31/08. Mr Krank asked Jeff to fill out a "report" for him and told Jeff he would send it out on 3/28/08. Mr. Krank later called Jeff back to report that he found someone else to draw the 5 samples, but still wanted him to fill out the "report". 3/28/08 - 4pm, Jeff called me to say that Mr. Krank faxed him the letter that John McEvoy sent dated December 28, 2007. Mr. Krank wanted Jeff to write the report that the AO requests. Jeff asked if Mr. Krank still wanted Stutzman Services to monitor for coliform bacteria and Mr. Krank said no. Jeff asked who was doing the sampling and Mr. Krank said that Pacific Analytical Lab was. Jeff said he thought that PA lab didnt go onsite to draw samples. Mr. krank said that the Manager, Mrs. Webb, "took" them to the lab. It was not discussed who would be "operator" of the system or taking samples in the future. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of 5 routine samples. |
