| Details: | SUMMARY: SNC-Exception Inquiry DETAILS: This PWS appeared as an Exception on the first quarter SNC list. The system may have been inactive much of 2007, as there was a change of management. The new operator, Darrell McKay, began sampling in Dec 2007 and had positive coliform results right away. He followed Plan Review to install a UV unit, installed in Jan 2008. After receiving a cc of the PR conditional approval letter (6-2-08), I phoned Darrell to check up. I reiterated his ongoing testing responsibilities. He said the water tested negative for coliform after UV installation. These results are not in SDWIS, so he will find them and send to Portland DWP. He now knows he needs to collect another TC this month, for the second quarter sample. ACTION NEEDED: Await copy of 1st quarter 2008 TC results, and results of new sample to be collected before the end of June. | ||
