| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to positive TC result, protocol for repeat testing, etc DETAILS: Spoke to Gerry to make sure he understood what to do with the four repeat samples. He believes the TC positive may have occurred because a new staff person took the sample, and did not remember to sterilize the nozzle first, etc. This particular TC sample had been taken near the wellhead, because they were also collecting the annual nitrate sample there. I explained that the TC sample should routinely be taken in the distribution system. Gerry is waiting for the additional bottles from Analy Labs, and will take a repeat sample at the wellhead, and at three different sinks in the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of 4 repeat coliform tests, advise on next steps. | ||
