| Details: | SUMMARY: complaint DETAILS: The caller said that she was filling a new pond liner with a new hose and first 2 black thread-like things were swimming in it. They were 3-4 inches long. She said when she took them out of the water they shriveled up. I suggested that they maybe came from the hose or the liner, but she is very concerned that it came from the water system. I told her their sources were 2 wells and they also have a reservoir. The water system is up to date on coliform monitoring (no positives), and no treatment. She would like to have it analyzed so I gave her the number of a lab in Bend. I also suggested she call the contact person for the system to see if anything unusual is happening. ACTION NEEDED: None unless there is more reason to believe it came from the water system. | ||
