| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate sample collected 10/16/07 tested over one half of the MCL DETAILS: Nitrate sample collected on 10/16/07 had a level of 8.65 ppm. This result is significantly higher than historical levels and the system will be asked to begin quarterly sampling.The attached letter explaining quarterly sampling protocol was sent to the system operator. ACTION NEEDED: Begin quarterly sampling in the first quarter of 2008. After one year of quarterly sampling is complete you can return to annual nitrate sampling during the quarter that showed the highest result. | ||
