| Details: | SUMMARY: Water system replacing chlorination equipment DETAILS: Mike Kelly of Engineered Control Products had been contacted by ODOT to review options for replacing worn out chlorination equipment. The old equipment includes a meter driven chlorine pump and thats what Mike will specify. We reviewed several issues regarding the plumbing configuration, contact time etc. SDWIS currently shows treatment as "Disinfection" but it is likely "Residual Maintenance". The water system is scheduled for a survey in July. Meanwhile Mike Kelly will submit a schematic and equipment specifications for plan review. ACTION NEEDED: Mike Kelly will submit technical data for plan review. DWP to conduct water system survey and determine reason for chlorination. | ||
