| Details: | SUMMARY: alert-total coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Bob Nelson today about total coliform present sample taken 7/7/08. He knew why it came back present they had a problem with their Iron removal system, it failed to backwash. They have fixed the problem, he is planning to shock chlorinate today and flush for 3-5 days then take the repeat samples. They do have a UV light, however since the iron filter wasnt working properly the dissolved iron was masking the coliform and UV was not effective. Bob knows to take five routines next month. ACTION NEEDED: correct problem, take four repeat samples asap and five routines in month of Aug. 2008 | ||
