Details: | SUMMARY: Jim McGowan reported to Scott Kruger that the 4 repeat samples taken on 5/6/08 were all positive for TC DETAILS: Jim McGowan reported that he was having bottled water being to delivered to the school. He was having Stutzman Services shock chlorinate the well today and that he was preparing a public notice. Scott contacted Carrie Gentry of the DWP to confirm processes were correct. Jim was instructed to go to the state website to obtain public notification template. Jim was instructed to submit a sample within one week after the shock chlorination and proper flushing of the system has been completed. Scott discussed action if shock chlorination is not effective discussed five routine samples in the following month if shock chlorination is effective. At 1pm Jim reported that the shock chlorination was completed and after proper flushing on 5/8/08 a sample would be obtained by Analytical Lab of Eugene on 5/8/08. Jim stated the public notification was complete and he was faxing to Benton county for forwarding to the DWP. I told him it needed to be submitted to the DWP within 10 days. ACTION NEEDED: Continue with bottled water for drinking and await results of test after well chlorination and flushing. | ||
