Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample collected on 3/31/08 tested positive for Total Coliform DETAILS: 4/2/08 - I spoke with Pastor Ron Welch. He said that the chlorine reservoir was accidentally allowed to run out and there is not residual. They have a UV light and the bulb replacement warning just came on but Desert Pump said that it should still have three months of life left in it. I am going to visit the system on 4/4/08. Repeat samples will be collected at that time. 4/4/08 - I inspected the system and the source of the problem was not evident. The chlorine residual was low at 0.08 ppm but the UV light appeared to be functional. Chlorination should not be necessary. I collected four repeat samples and suggested discontinuing chlorination. 4/6/08 - Four repeat samples tested negative for Total Coliform. ACTION NEEDED: Five routine samples need to be collected in the month of May. | ||
