Details: | SUMMARY: Rebuilding facility - sorting out wells and plan review materials DETAILS: Spoke to Guy to clarify several points. The restaurant/lodge was one of the buildings that burned down in March 2006. The new owners, the McGeheys (took over late 2006/early 2007?), wound up demolishing most everything else to start new. The exception is the Hoover Cabin, which they are restoring. They are building a new lodge/restaurant, and 22 cabins. Guy also emailed several documents to me. With her historical knowledge of the site and its wells, I asked Karen Kelley to review the info with me. The well log/start cards say that they abandoned the well drilled in 2001 (tag # L49913), which had serviced the old lodge/restaurant. So that PWS (#95154) is now defunct. The 1970 well (for this PWS, #91833) will service the new cabins. Then they drilled a new well in 2007, which will service the newly built restaurant. No number issued yet for the new restaurant PWS - it has to go through plan review and start operations. ACTION NEEDED: Enter this info into contact reports for both PWS # 95154 and PWS #91833. Enter data into SDWIS that the well for PWS #95154 has been officially abandoned. PWS 91833 was already deactivated on SDWIS for the fire/reconstruction period. Send Marsha Fox all plan review materials received, plus our notes. |
