| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on alert received May 30, 2008 DETAILS: This alert shows another routine sample taken on 5/23/08 that came back positive for TC and reported on 5/30/08 (Tim was taking 3 routines a quarter instead of 1). The alert also shows a TC positive repeat sample taken on 5/28/08 at the office sink. I discussed with Tim that he was required to post a public notice because one repeat sample was TC positive and confirmed that there is a problem. Tim faxed me the PN and it was incorrect. I asked Tim to correct the PN and refax. Tim did this on June 4, 2008 and said he would repost ASAP. I have already discussed with Tim that he needs to shock chlorinate the well and how to do it on 5/29/08. Tim will wait 4-5 days after shocking the well and take 5 routines with one being at the wellhead since no repeat sample was taken there. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of 5 routines taken later in June. | ||
