| Details: | SUMMARY: Update inventory information, City Council meeting August 19, 2008 DETAILS: Steve Smith is on the City Council and has concerns about the water system. Some contractors (in the Willamete Valley) who own property in Granite have expressed interest in helping re-build the water system. Mr. Smith was interested in having me attend the next City Council meeting on August 19. The PWS inventory indicates Granite is a community water system but it should be a transient NC. Mr. Smith indicated that there are 17 year around residents and 10 year around connections. The current coliform and chemical sample schedules are consistent with the TNC classification. The primary system operator is now Bill Duyn but the Schnitzers are still the administrative contacts. Steve Smiths mailing address is 1061 Main St., Granite, 97877. I contacted Ray Huff and his contact regarding the water system was that he submitted the form to change the operator to Bill Duyn. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to change inventory to reflect transient non-community status. DWP to contact Bill Duyn for contact information and to check status of chlorine residual measurements. Burnett to meet with City Council on August 19, 2008. | ||
