| Details: | SUMMARY: Tgreatment Recommendations DETAILS: System continues to struggle with high turbidity waters even though they have made improvements to their aged conventional package plant. They requested a site visit to review the facility and discuss their options. I visited the site on 6/23/08. I presented a proposal from a membrane manufacturer of a packaged membrane skid capable of making around 40 gpm or so for a delivered price of around 90K. Installation could be completed using in-house forces. We discussed other needs such for the project and the benefits of membrane technology. They had hoped grants were available. I spoke with Fumi Schaadt at OECDD and she confirmed that they are not really in a good position for grants. She recommended they seek funding through the SRF or simply through a bank. ACTION NEEDED: Get feedback to the association on the funding issues and see what else we can do. | ||
