| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive TC DETAILS: Went to Meadow Wood they were aware and had been instructed by Umpqua research to do 4 repeats. I instructed on where to take the repeats and provided written info on protocol to follow in case of a positive coliform result. I also instructed that next month they are to take and submit 5 samples. Explained that coliforms are an indicator of possible contamination to the water system, barring sampling error. I reviewed proper sampling technique with Neil. He said he had set the lid down while taking the sample. I instructed not to remove lid until ready for sample and not to touch inside lid or jar or set down. They are taking the samples on Wednesday. He wanted info on disinfecting a well, I provided that from the DHS website via fax. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up that samples are submitted as required. | ||
