| Details: | SUMMARY: Sample collected on 5/30/08 tested positive for TC DETAILS: 6/3/08 - I left a voice mail for Peggy notifying her of the positive sample and requesting that she call me back. 6/4/08 - Peggy notified me that she dropped the bottle on the ground prior to sampling, picked it up, brushed it off and used it. Additionally she did not flush the tap prior to sampling. I discussed proper sampling technique with her. Four repeat samples will be collected on 6/7/08. 6/9/08 - Three out of four repeat samples failed (one at the space one outside hose bib and two at the space six outside hose bib). I called Peggy and informed her that the system will need to be chlorinated. I suggested that the storage tank is likely the problem and because there is no good way to directly test the sources the tank should be chlorinated to a level of approximately on ppm. See the next alert for continued details on action taken. ACTION NEEDED: System needs to be chlorinated. | ||
