| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: Phone consultation with Susan Lee regarding the 4/29/08 nitrate sample being 12ppm. The water system maintenance company has once again come out to work on the system after the high test. This time they discovered the fitting for the salt tank on the ion exchange unit plugged which prevents the system from functioning properly to remove the nitrates. They removed the obstruction from the fitting and did a quick in-field test that showed the nitrate level in the water was significantly lower. The owner will have a new water sample taken 5/20/08. Public notice is still posted. ACTION NEEDED: Resample for nitrates the next testing period. | ||
