| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: Phone and in-field consultation with the owner due to the 4/22/08 nitrate sample being 13ppm. The resin in the ion exchange unit was replaced 3/13/08 by a water system maintenance company, The owner again called the WS maintenance company for assistance and they adjusted the cleaning/recharge timer for the ion exchange unit 4/25/08. I helped the owner create a public notice for nitrates and explained that it needs to be posted in a conspicuous place and they will need to resample nitrates the next testing period. ACTION NEEDED: Post public notice in a conspicuous location and send in copy to Drinking Water Program. Resample nitrates the next testing period. | ||
