| Details: | SUMMARY: Three out of four repeat samples collected 6/6/08 tested positive for Total Coliform DETAILS: 6/9/08 - Peggy and I discussed the low-level (one ppm) chlorination of the storage tank. I will meet with Peggy on 6/11/08 to walk her through the chlorination process. 6/11/08 - I worked with Peggy to chlorinate the storage tank to approximately 2.0 ppm. 6/18/08 - I sampled the water to confirm that there is no remaining chlorine residual. 6/20/08 - I met with Peggy to collect one special sample at the unit 6 outside hose bib. We discussed proper sampling technique. 6/22/08 - The special sample tested positive for TC 6/25/08 - I met with Peggy to shock chlorinate the entire system (wells and storage). A new seal was installed on the storage tank access hatch at this time. 7/2/08 - I tested the chlorine in the system at 1.5 ppm, down from approximately 50 ppm during the shock. I notified Peggy that she can tell her tenants the water is safe to drink. Five temporary routine samples will be collected next week. 7/15/08 - One temporary routine samples will be collected at space six. 7/17/08 - The temporary routine sample tested positive for Total Coliform.
