| Details: | SUMMARY: Plans to move chlorine injection point DETAILS: Karen Kelley talked with Myles Butner. Myles wants to move the chlorinator from Well #10 to the outlet of the steel tank. Myles is sending plans to Tom Charbonneau and will cc me. Karen waived the plan review fee. Tom may not require Plan Review, although the system has to sample those wells before the steel tank for coliform during the months they use them since there is no contact time at the steel tank. As per Myles Butner, the wells prior to the steel tank do not serve any users before the tank. The concrete tank is chlorinated and has adequate contact time. Well #3 was the only well that had fecal coliform during the round of source samples required by the Administrative Order, but Well #3 goes to the concrete tank, which has adequate contact time, so is ok. ACTION NEEDED: Await word from Myles Butner or Tom Charbonneau that the chlorine injection point was moved. | ||
