Details: | SUMMARY: Contacted Re: Non-reporting and very outdated information DETAILS: Via another EWEB employee, I eventually found the right person for these PWS questions - Rich Callison. I sent him an email on 8/7/08 as I was informed he is often away from phones. He phoned in today. There are 4 houses, the powerhouse, and one office/shop at the Leaburg facility, which is located 1/2 mile due west of the town of Leaburg. Since 2002, the facility has been "unmanned", with only a floating operator that comes through from other duties. One house is currently occupied with 2 residents. Therefore there is now a potential of three people on any particular day using this water system ->no longer a public water system. Rich says his EWEB environmental coordinator (Debbie Spresser) has decided to start taking the quarterly coliform and annual nitrate tests again, but I informed Rich that they should no longer send those results to the state database as it no longer constitutes a public water system. ACTION NEEDED: I updated the contact information in the database and then inactivated this public water system. |
