| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for TC Positive DETAILS: Alert received on 8/20/08 regarding TC positive. Left message for Dennis Smith on 8/20/08. Dennis called me on 8/21/08 - reported that he had already taken the required 4 repeat samples (all from single delivery point - handpump). I asked if he knew what may have resulted in TC presence - he indicated that he may not have been as thorough as necessary during sample collection and doubted that the aquifer was impacted. He will call the lab this afternoon to see if he can get sample results. I notified Dennis that he was required to collect 5 routine samples next month - he mentioned that the campground closes at the end of this month at which point handle from hand pump is removed. I need to check with others regarding follow-up sampling requirements in this situation. ACTION NEEDED: Check with Casey regarding follow-up sampling. | ||
