| Details: | SUMMARY: Reviewed treatment operations on-site, and monitoring requirements. DETAILS: Amy Baker & Gary Burnett inspected the slow sand filtration plant, and reviewed the surface water treatment reports. The circuit rider had done a tracer study in August 2007 and determined actual CT to be 277. We noted that the recorded pH readings seemed low-- 5.8-6.5. We also reviewed the status of chemical monitoring and E.coli enumeration for LT2ESWTR. Georgia Patterson from Prairie City was on-site to look at the plant because the Prairie City slow sand filter will be similar, but smaller. The 2 Joseph filters are 100ft X 50 ft each, and Prairie Citys will be 50X50. ACTION NEEDED: City should have pH readings verified. | ||
