| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert response for unresolved coliform MCL DETAILS: Routine sample on 7/11/08 was TC+. One of the repeats on 7/12/08 was also TC+. Called Bill Gowen to discuss follow-up actions. He said that both bad samples were from the same sample point which is in the kitchen. They took additional repeat samples, avoiding that sample point, which were good. He is convinced that the problem was the sample tap, not the water. I advised him to take 5 routine samples next month and to post a public notice of the unresolved coliform MCL. I emailed him the instructions and template for the PN and told him to send a copy to the state DWP. Also, emailed the resolved PN. ACTION NEEDED: System to post PN and send copy to state. System to take 5 routine samples in August. | ||
