| Details: | SUMMARY: Report of a total coliform positive routine sample and follow-up activities DETAILS: An alert for total coliform was received at 4:41 p.m. on September 11. Gresham received notice of a total coliform positive routine sample that was collected on September 10. E-coli was absent in the routine sample. Rick mentioned that three repeat samples were collected on Sept. 11 and received on Sept. 12. All three repeats came back total coliform absent. Rick mentioned that the chlorine residual was recorded at 0.34 mg/liter, but that this value is normal for this location of the distribution system, which comes off two reservoirs. Rick also stated that he is training a new sample collector, but that he currently supervises the individuals sampling techniques. ACTION NEEDED: Gresham to contact DWP immediately if any coliform violation occurs. DWP to assist as necessary, or if a violation occurs. | ||
