| Details: | SUMMARY: Two repeat samples positive for total coliform DETAILS: 3/5/08: Routine sample positive and 4 repeats on 3/10/08 positive. 4/10-4/11 Four more repeats were taken and were positive. Amanda DeRuwe has posted a public notice. The firm is currently not in production except for repack so no water is used for processing except for sanitation purposes. The system is large and seasonal. Full production begins in May. The firms chlorination system is not used until firm is in full production(summer). The firm is now researching chlorination of system year round. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice must be posted and remain until all samples are negative. Five routine samples are required for May. If all are negative firm may return to quarterly monitoring. If any treatment is installed it must go through plan review by the regional drinking water office. | ||
