Details:	SUMMARY: Nitrate level over half of the MCL DETAILS: This system was placed on quarterly sampling for nitrate in Feb.04 and again in Jan.07 due to nitrate levels greater than half of the MCL. While results were not submitted for all 4 quarters either time results have never exceeded 10mg/l. Historically, the only quarter that has not been tested is the July - September quarter. The latest nitrate test result for a sample taken on 5-6-08 was 6.1 mg/l. I called Steve and requested that he submit a nitrate sample during July or August of this year. If that result is consistent with previous test results, the system will not be required to go to quarterly sampling again. Rather the sample will be required to be taken during the quarter with the highest historical results. ACTION NEEDED: System to sample and report nitrates in July or August.
