| Details: | SUMMARY: Quarterly arsenic positive June 23, 2008 DETAILS: Arsenic samples were collected from all three sources and only well three had a level above the MCL. Well 3 will continue to be sampled on a quarterly basis as there are three houses served directly by well 3. Additionally, the entry point (storage tank) will be tested for arsenic on a quarterly basis during the time period (hottest months of the year) when the yield on wells one and two is reduced and well 3 is necessary to keep up with system demand. The quarterly entry point sample will be used to verify that the blended water entering the distribution is below the MCL. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly arsenic samples need to be collected from well 3 and the entry point during the third quarter of 2008 (July-September). | ||
