| Details: | SUMMARY: Negative coliform repeat samples DETAILS: Scott Meyer called me on 9/22/08 to let me know that the 3 repeat samples he took in follow-up to the positive e-coli routine sample were absent for coliform. He said that the sampling procedure for the sample that was positive for e-coli was correct and their lowest residual was 0.43. He doesnt know why the sample was positive for e-coli, but the sample tap was on a deadend line, so he was going to look into sample site replacement and flushing. He does not need to issue public notice or take corrective action since the e-coli was not confirmed. He knows to take 5 follow-up samples next month. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the follow-up routine samples. | ||
