| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate action level exceedence DETAILS: On Thursday August 14, 2008 I spoke with Loree Fields on the phone regarding the elevated nitrate sample result of 7.96 mg/L, which exceeds the action level but not the MCL. She informed me that a repeat sample for nitrate is being taken. ACTION NEEDED: Since this is not an MCL violation treatment is not required. However I mentioned that the likelihood of nitrate exceeding the MCL may be possible therefore it is recommended to brainstorm possible nitrate treatment options in case the MCL violation occurs. Lorees Chalet is currently on a quarterly sampling schedule for nitrates. | ||
