| Details: | Followed up with John Marchand by phone as follows: The chlorinator did not appear to be operating correctly in recent days accounting for several results showing coliform present. He had provided notice to tenants regarding recent sample results showing coliform present and also stated some residents had been provided with commercially bottled water. Wright's well service came on-site and provided maintenance to the chlorinator. Since then a "special" sample collected at the entry point showed satisfactory results. 3 temporary routine samples are due before the end of June. I advised increasing chlorine strength and flushing the system of non-chlorinated water and getting chlorine strength in a range no lower than 0.2 mg/l and no more than 4 before collecting the three temporary routine samples. Also advised obtaining a test kit to measure chlorine strength daily and allow detection of failing disinfection. I asked John who I might communicate the test kit requirement to and he relayed that EL Edwards was managing property. I told John I might write a letter to the property management and he asked to be copied. |
